Why I'm Choosing to Serve in Bolivia
"The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few” (Matthew 9:37). This verse sums up the reason that I have chosen to serve as a student missionary. The Lord has called me to be one of his workers and assist in spreading the message of His gospel. As such, I am gladly giving my time in service to Him and following the conviction He has placed on my heart.
Why donations are important
Each year Southern Adventist University sends out more than 60 full-time student missionaries. I have agreed to raise $5000 for Southern's Student Missions program. The funds raised will collectively help cover our airfare, visas, insurance training, and care packages. I am excited to serve as a student missionary! Will you help me reach my goal? Whatever you are able to give is greatly appreciated by the 2023-24 student missionaries, the people we will serve, and also myself.
Student Missions at Southern
For over 50 years Student Mission has been equipping students to serve as the hands and feet of Jesus, reaching people with the gospel around the world. Students spend four to twelve months learning to live beyond the borders of their faith. It is our deepest desire to see lives changing for the kingdom of Christ.
How will my donation be used?
As an SM for Familia Feliz, I will be a house parent for a group of roughly 10 orphan boys. This role will incorporate every aspect of being an actual parent with the addition of being an educator. Along with this, I will be serving as Christ's witness and introducing these boys to the love He provides and that they so desperately need.
